Devika--well, you, of course! (and to scoop up all others who want to be there, too...especially from frozen territories!)
Now I can imagine that lovely portrait of you dressed in this orchid color...

you are too fascinating a friend, my dear...truly, never had one like you...

i don't know how it all came about..But I feel truly blessed to have a friend as you, my dear..

and that orchid colour -- I have atleast 10 sarees in that shade :)

violet in white -- is one of my favourites ...and which colour do you like?
I always imagined you in maroon...don't know why :)

Devika--wow, your closet must be a work of art to behold!

You guessed right about maroon--at least for me to wear--goes well somehow. My favorite color to be around is green, but not as exciting to wear.

And you are fascinating, too, my dear!

Spring must be here. I look forward to many flowers; and pictures of flowers until the real ones' appear.
The blowup is especially enticing, you can really walk around inside the curls of the petals bathed in the shadowed colored light.

nice shot

Devika--LOVE that cream and green color combination!

Lorraine--catelleyas are very seductive--and some are extremely fragrant, too--couldn't keep my nose out of them...thanks for the compliment!

Goatman--wow, I didn't think to click on the photo to see it larger...you're right, thanks for noticing! And I know we will have LOTS of flowers this year, we deserve it, don't we?

Kai--thanks, I'm feeling good, how are you? Lovely to see you again here...

Krystyna--I wish I could bring you here to see the flowers! Thank you for the lovely comment--sending prayers to you and your family...

Janice--yes, it's true, the orchids are amazingly complicated for so few petals (6 including sepals) Can't quite decipher the last words in your comment...any clues?

Krystyna--your dedication of that marvelous performance takes my breath away, it is so beautiful!
Your son is able to bring the magic in the music to life, like few others in this world can do...
and you send it to me at a time when I really needed inspiration!

I am NOT your youngest blogging friend, I am two times Kai's age...but I am happy that I am special to you, as you are special to me!

Hi:)

Lovely photo! When enlarged, the flowers looks gorgeous with the light in the background. The petals look almost transparent and fragile.

I am sure you had a good time at the Orchid show.

Best wishes :)
