valentine
I found
for you
a perfect circle
of sea
where the sun
had splashed in and out
all afternoon
like a child
diving down
to wiggle its bare toes
on the
sandy bottom
the February ice
had dissolved
into bubbles
the wind had also melted away
and I tried
to save
a piece
of the turquoise day
for you
marbled with gold
like a cat's eye
dripping wet
in both hands
This valentine is for my beloved readers, all of you, known and unknown--!

Perfect, my dear bird
i doubt if you you peeped into my mind, last night :)
love,
devika
Devika--No I didn't, but now I am dying to know what I missed!
Please let me in on it...
hahaha..
why the hurry, my dear bird..
i am there with you and we will get to know the other as we go...
as of now I tell you -- you got it all perfectly well :)
devika
and I love every single letter in this thoroughly loving poetry
Life is a circle. We are all one. To attune to energy enables people to reconnect to what matters. That is unwavering, unconditional love. Choose to believe love is the answer.
Oh, I am so ready for sun. Thank you.
Devika--I'm glad to hear it!
Lorraine--And I am sending my love here in every letter, for you!
Liara--So true! And I promise to live by it, too!
MB--Hi, Western bluebird--I was thinking of you today, wondering how you are doing--missed you. Glad to see you back!
My dear bird, i was about to reach you and your response came in :)
just to say, i have new poetry blog..now experimenting with haiku :)
visit won't you?

love, always
devika
My dear bird,
I had to close comments at my blogs...just another of my 'reactions' -- but I have been thinking about it for a while now...
Just wanted to inform, after inviting you -- it would otherwise look odd :)
wishes,
devika
Devika--Yes, your new poetry blog is very beautiful! I enjoyed reading and also the photos...but it is sad not to see the comments. Your readers enjoy commenting, and are very supportive and enthusiastic! But I understand you needed a break...
Thanks, my dear bird...
I know -- I am wrong in closing comments. especially when I move around commenting at other blogs...
But, unfortunately I have to take a full break from it, if I am to blog...while its a pleasure to read comments from those who love poetry, or are poets themselves....I am tired of the junks who come to read me through my poetry...
My life is very different from what I write..and I can't have any of those to spoil my day...and am one who has lots of committment that I myself have chosen to fulfil...
For a good time in the past I have been trying to make all ends meet and now losing mental and physical health..
So comment is one I shall not choose to open any time, if I blog :)
thank you for all the support you give,
love,
devika
It takes a BIG heart to give out LOVE to total strangers. And I think u hv that kinda heart.
beautiful!
Keshi.
Keshi--Thank you for your very generous comment! I really appreciate it...and I am so happy you came here and are not "anonymous! I really enjoy your blog, too!
And of course, it's so easy to give love when people give it back...
Wonderful! Spring is on it's way!
o no Im never anonymous...altho some ppl leave anon comments in my blog just to get to me. But they fail miserably :)
Its wonderful being at ur wonderful blog!
Keshi.
Mark--Yes, yes, YES...! And soon.
Keshi--I think I would recognize you even if you WERE anonymous...your light is too bright to hide!
Devika--I just wanted to say, your new blog with the poems and photos is very peaceful--a healing experience. I can understand now what you were envisioning...
Thanks my dear, I perhaps know you would. :)
Again, my i'm sad that the world would never mature to understand that...some older ones seem worse than the 18-20 year olds!
anyway, not my concern...
the world is not on top of me, nor I am on top of it...
But I may still react, in my ways :)
thanks for letting me know, my dear
love,
devika
