When I vacationed in Jamaica over the years this was a weed in the hills - and to think we pay 10 to $12 a stem for it here! Such a fascinatingly beautiful flower.
D--you have said this enough times now, I am starting to believe it myself. It is easier to love the snow once it has mostly melted...as it is this week--still have some ice in the mornings, but the flowers are starting to wake up...as from a dream--
Devika--Aren't we fortunate to have the Internet on which to share our places and dreams! I have difficulty imagining the old days, when it would take weeks to find out about events on the other side of the world! (Or before that when they didn't even know there WAS another side to the world! Oh, we have it so easy...
Lorraine--I'm glad I could send you some sun--thank you for the compliment...
Enchanting photo of a lovely flower. The flower looks like a bird with colorful plumes. Certainly I would like to have this flower when I go to paradise.
Joseph--Thank you...it sounds like you already live in paradise, with all the orchids! Perhaps these flowers can grow in your garden, too? I think Devika has them in Kerala, as she mentioned in her comment.
That photo surely is splendid. It looks like a kingfisher hunting.(except for the colors.)I have got many blogs among them There's i one for poems and another for photos check those out. Cheers!
Susan--I visited your many blogs, and they are enjoyable, creative and inspiring! Thanks for coming to visit here, welcome any time-- Your comment about the kingfisher is quite true...
