springing up as fountains are normally expected/constructed -- must say that when it's a 'pipe fountain' :)

Janice--yes, I love these fountains too--this one is in the New York Botanical Garden's rock garden area. I took this photo last summer, but there was never an appropriate poem to post it with until now! I do wish I had one in my yard, that's an idea...

Devika, you have a point there about the direction of the water...there is a different feeling with the flow across and downwards, and the sound is different, too, more peaceful.
(Maybe you can explain what you meant about Janice?)

Lorraine--yes I missed you, too! You look so lovely in your photo--did you get younger and thinner?

Devika--yes, I can understand how one can long for green after such a winter...

Lorraine--healing wishes for your dear little knee--I am sure it is happy it does not have to carry as many pounds!

Yeah....coming from a forever green tropical land-- this longing for spring and summer comes as an unsusal craving for us...since we have seas and waterbodies all over the place, it is quite comfortable, except in the very hot months...and ironically we long for months from November to Feb for that cool air :)

Devika--I really can relate to your wish for cool air, I feel that way in the very hot weather, especially since it seems to come without warning each Spring! We're still waiting for it this year, though...
Sorry to hear about Janice's computer--hope it has a speedy recovery, or we will miss her too much!

Yea...But the experts/scientists say we could well be headed for a global cooling --

And we always had that 30 year cycle of warming and cooling -- is what Russians say

whatsoever, things keep happening...people die out of cold and out of heat - on the other side life goes on -- hope you get what you wish for, dear bird..that's all i can say :)
