Devika--thanks--this is a natural waterfall, actually the lowest of several cascades covering a long distance down the mountainside, the upper ones are very tall and impressive, made famous by Thomas Cole in his paintings!

How lovely, cascading water is so soothing, you know you should open an account with AM3, it's free, and it will show your photos in all its beauty in grand format lol ;)

Lorraine--thanks, yes, it's tempting to post my photos in larger format--someday when I get more time, I definitely will! I appreciate the reminder...

I went to see this, at Wiki, and its so beautiful,

thanks dear bird,
it reminds me...seeing my craze for water falls and water bodies, before marriage my husband said he will take me to Niagra water falls....and I took his word...after marriage he took me to a small water fall in the interiors of his village and asked me to imagine that we were at Niagra! :))

love,
devika
