Reluctantly I have to admit: there are orchids, or let me say, there are pictures of orchids that make up a wonderful world of their own. Whenever I click at this picture, my machine opens a very big scaled version. So that at the very instant I find myself in the middle of a jungle out of pure sun and beauty. Yes, this picture is really awesome. Ha, looks like I'm going to become an orchid fan after all. Susanne
susanne--I am so happy you are enjoying this tropical orchid jungle! Although I am not surprised, I knew it would grow on you...
Paul--Thanks, I'm glad you came here on a jungle expedition...
Pat--Yes, I hear your call--from the far reaches of my very demanding new job, a giant landscaping project involving large machinery and contractors, and a house full of teenagers who get to the computer first...and being one step away from total exhaustion! I have not forgotten you-all, no indeed--I just need a little more time... There are poems roaming in my head, I just haven't had a chance to sit down long enough! But I DO appreciate your friendly nagging, it makes my day!
firebird, soft petals beckon me to lay down and dream. sounds like you and i are both working overtime and have little left for blogland. i'm imagining your project and know it must be turning out beautifully. you are a rare blossom, dear. big hugs, snowsparkle
ss, Gautami-- I do appreciate so much your keeping in touch even though I have been "missing in action" for too long (although posting from my archives on Poetry Thursday is really fun and satisfying--it's all I can manage--until I can settle down and do some new work!)
What's taking my time and energy--is learning on-the-job doing medical care--taking care of anyone who walks in--for which it is necessary to know an infinite amount of information--not to mention doing more than half of the sessions in Spanish! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I am so blessed to get (one can get a job, but rarely a good learning environment...) This also requires working early hours, so staying up at night writing poetry can lead to total exhaustion! On top of this, I am doing a really exciting landscaping project at my house in the mountains, which involves regrading a steep slope (it's amountain after all) and moving giant rocks, to make several level garden areas...and a waterfall...again, I'm blessed to have found a very talented worker to do all this! Life goes so fast--time has slipped by, I'm waiting for that small crack where a poem can slip in! Thanks for sticking by me! Love you all...I'm truly not far away...
