au Canada (for Sage, and Paul)

not all prayers are answered

yet
the bell that is our body
still rings

not every breeze is scented
nor is the grass green
yet

the horizon
rolls on forward
as we walk

our next breath
rushes in
without thought

the seeds
of last year’s wishes
burst and rise

as if we could float up from the sea
on their wings

to the silent ice
of Canada
the edge of space

where summer never sets

The best gift to ourselves is us...healthy in mind, spirit and body.

Positive thoughts can elevate us to any level.

Much to think about in this verse.

Yep, that is true. And even though they're not, doesn't stop our wants/desires. You always delight my eyes!!

Yet the bell that rings may toll, I'm told.

Yet still it rings. Yet still it tolls. Yet still it rings... Some bells ring and toll more slowly than others, so they tell me.
