oh How I love peonies especislly in bud :)

I thought at first that you said "especially in bed"
That is an interesting image--
but I do love the peony buds because they amazingly open to luxurious blooms even when cut when as small as walnuts!
Of course we only see peonies at the florist now--but it will be soon...
