What a great picture of his body. We usually are so impressed by the fan of feathers that we don't really look at the bird. Wonderful pic. The pic of the raccoon in NYC is kind of a shock too. I winder if it was someone's pet that got away.
Sheila/Bluebirdy--These peacocks run loose at the zoo here in NYC--and make a racket with their screeching! The baby raccoon is part of our resident group that roam our streets here in the Bronx--along with possums, squirrels, cats, and the occasional skunk!
