in the pieces
come play
here where the ice
has hardened
on the bay
where frost
scatters itself
like ticker-tape
hurled onto
a parade
look
under your feet
for treasures of marble
cloverleaves,
flakes of confetti
beside the broken
ocean
that will not be mended
come play
with me
in the pieces
here where the ice
has hardened
on the bay
where frost
scatters itself
like ticker-tape
hurled onto
a parade
look
under your feet
for treasures of marble
cloverleaves,
flakes of confetti
beside the broken
ocean
that will not be mended
come play
with me
in the pieces

"beside the broken
ocean
that will not be mended
come play
with me
in the pieces"
pointing fingers at some one's sadistic pleasure??
it sounded so to me...
who's that i wouldn't know...
But, if it were me -- i'll choose to mend the ocean first and then play :)
this isn't going to leave me soon, my dear bird
love,
devika
these are strong words that linger in my mind...
love this.
play in peace among the pieces
it is my pleasure to join you there
beside the ocean, dear firebird : )
big hugs, snowsparkle
Lorraine--OK then!
Devika--Ah, but who can break the ocean--and who can put it together?
These are forces beyond human...only nature has the power--
unless there is something I do not know about you!
All right, Goddess Devika--it must be as you say...!
Polona--I appreciate your wise comment--thank you!
Snow--Come in peace, you may bring your reciprocating saw, too! We can make an ice sculpture...
Oh my dear...
So, you meant me there?? :)
Don't worry dear -- I do know, how it feels when the oceans are broken in human minds..and then to mend them..i try not to break that...
And of me -- whom do I say to? A wall is better than a shoulder to lean on, I had always thought...But now i'm reminded of:
A drunken man leaning a wall saying: ---
If someone could support the wall for a while..I could stand on my legs for a piss..thats my state :))
Nature - The forces are varied...one cannot say..
Yet, I feel if dealt with a little love and respect...it doesn't harm much...
Goddess Devika -- In our culture, a stone assumes Godly powers when thousands look upon it with love and devotion....
So given my state in this world of ours -- you would know better how much power I hold by now!!
anyway, my dear --- I know the love you showed to me..and I have felt it as a real as a touch...So I understand this reaction...
But natural in any relationship...when many are involved...and here from different cultures we seem so much in a melting pot...
I can understand all, my dear...
Wishes,
devika
Devika--Wow, what can I say--your comment is so eloquent...far-ranging--and gives much to think about! And the feelings are much appreciated.
Wondering if eloquence is a boon or a bane, my dear :))
do I limit it?
but as said, I have to say what comes to my mind...else thoughts would kill me!
love,
devika
It's in the pieces we make a whole. You have such wonderful pieces to play in too.
Devika--good question--will say more on this...
Pat--Very philosphical comment--and very "Pat"!--missed you and it's great to see you back in action!
My dear,
I think I am outgrowing that problem slowly..and my unpublished rantings are working as effective as my published ones.
a good release for me :)
and Borut -- i have seen you at his once -- says, i can say anything at his blog..
Lorraine is another who gives me a space...and with you I have taken all liberty :)
but, now I guess since people have a "good enough feel" of me i wouldn't have much to say. :)
love,
devika
Devika--I wouldn't say you "take all liberty" here, your comments are given with love...which is appreciated!
