flight

fear,
come into my world
with your troubled feathers

I will capture you
in my night sky

under spiders
slender and shy
as God's eyelashes

in a net
of moth trails

in the flicker
of leathery wings
and small claws
curled over shadow canyons

in the vast, cavernous
delicacy of flight

fear
you are the dark sun
in my heart

fly

I like this Firebird. Meeting the enemy, fear, face to face - what better way to depose him. Wonderful imagery here. Well done.

That was a wonderful flight, my bird.

you seem to capture the fear in me last night only to fly it off...

But to hold a dark sun in your heart...you are more strong than I imagined..that picture suggested a very 'coy girl' :-))

thank you
wishes!

Devika--then we will fly the fear off together...

That dark sun is always there inside--to keep me from getting cold-- if only it will learn how to behave!

I understand my bird, the dark sun that's within you..

perhaps thats why you turned up to me..when I was lighting the wick of my deadened spirit....remember?? loving for the joy of loving :-))

only like minds will know each other ..Janice is here, she will definitey agree :-)

yeah, teaching the sun, the flame to behave itself is a 'job' in itself :-))

wishes
