space

soft wind blowing
from your eyes

pulls me
into your heartbeat

into the silence
between steps

the empty cry
of space

where things small
and familiar

melt
forever changed

Your words suggest something so ethereal and elusive, yet strong and passionate at the same time. Paradoxical? Not at all. ;-)

Quite a moving observation on the reach of emotion -- even into things not readily noticeable. ^_^

I do enjoy reading your poetry, especially with respect to the delicate motion in the scenes portrayed. I especially adore "Creature From a Star" and "If I Were Wild."

Cheers.
