This little sweetie is about 1/4 inch in size, and probably is in everyone's garden already, just not usually noticed...Would it eat a snake if it could find one small enough? I have no idea!
Lori--he held still because he was checking ME out! (Although not for long before he scurried away...) Thanks so much for visiting my blog--glad you like my spider friend, too!
gracie--what a great image! That just about says it all!
lee--thanks for appreciating!

What a great shot! He's kind of cute in a buggy-eyed, furry-faced kind if way. What do they do for gardens? Eat bad bugs?
mb--yes, they hunt "bad bugs", by sneaking up on them and jumping--great if you have bugs on your garden plants!
Where do you get these kinds of spiders? Do they eat snakes? Great photo, cute...
Like a little old man with a scruffy face and beady eyes!!

How cool and cute is that?! Love this lil' spider.
But...how did you get him to hold still long enough to photograph?

Spiders have always freaked me out. But I have to agree with you: it's actually kinda cute.
